Goshu-Ryu SunCoast

It was my absolute honour to represent my teacher Mori Michiharu Sensei’s aikido (and his teacher’s Shioda Gozo Kancho) at a recent demonstration in Japan’s oldest dojo – the Butokuden. It was probably one of the most significant moments in my #martialarts journey so far… Far more important than gold medals, state or national title fight wins etc. from my past.

I can only hope that I represented my teacher’s technique and teaching well enough.
